MOTHERWELL School of Excellence (MSE) FC accumulated six league points during two SAFA Nelson Mandela Bay (NMB) SAB Regional League games that were played at Khayamnandi Community Ground in Despatch on Saturday and in Motherwell NU2 on Sunday.

However, MSE FC faced a tough side of Despatch Pioneers FC during their tough battle but the Motherwell boys registered a hard-fought 1-0 in their first game. When they hosted Young Teenagers FC, they handed the Veeplaas side a 3-1 defeat in their one-sided game.

The newcomers, EC Celtics FC, are not being taken for granted by many teams because they have made their presence felt in the regional top-flight league. Since they started their campaign, Celtics keep scoring surprise victories.

They won both their games over the weekend. On Saturday, Celtics dug deep to overcome the New Brighton side, Roaring Tigers FC, 1-0 at their home at Khayamnandi Community Ground in Despatch.

When they travelled to Port Elizabeth FC, they hammered the hosting team 6-0 at Hearts Ground in Summerstrand, on Friday.

Golden Aces FC defeated Red City FC 1-0 at Zwide Stadium on Saturday and they snatched a well-deserved 3-1 triumph from PE Sundowns at New Brighton Oval Stadium on Sunday. Madibaz Football defeated PE Sundowns FC 2–1 at NMU South Campus Grounds in Summerstrand on Friday and the students, continueing where they left off, collected an away 2-0 victory over Motherwell Academy at Motherwell NU 2 Stadium on Sunday.
