The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is currently enhancing and conducting maintenance work on the Online Grants Application system.
According to a statement by SASSA, the system has not been accessible from 12 to 17 September to allow the maintenance work to be conducted in order to improve its stability.
The statement read: “During this period, members of the public will not be able to apply for social grants online. However, those who need to apply for social grants can still visit their nearest SASSA office for assistance.
