THE SAFA Nelson Mandela Bay SAB Regional League hosted spectacular games at the weekend. The game that stole the show was between Motherwell School of Excellence and Bay Tigers, which ended in a goalless draw at Motherwell NU 2 Stadium on Saturday.
Lion City played to a 2-2 draw against Highland Spurs, at Motherwell NU 2 Stadium, on Saturday. PE Sundowns shared a 3-3 draw with Westville Academy, at New Brighton Oval Stadium on Saturday. New Brighton Academy overcame Young Teenagers 2-1 at the New Brighton Oval Stadium, while Bay Tigers succumbed 3-1 to Stinging Bees, at Zwide Stadium on Saturday.
Motherwell Academy defeated Camper United 3-1, in their local derby, at Motherwell NU 2 Stadium on Sunday. Major Chiefs collected three league points in their 2-1 victory over Despatch Pioneers at Zwide Stadium.
Bay Tigers were held to a 3–3 draw by Young Teenagers at Zwide Stadium. Golden Aces secured a well-deserved 3-1 triumph over Motherwell School of Excellence, at Zwide Stadium on Sunday.
Madibaz Football drew 1-1 with Golden Aces, at South Campus Grounds in Summerstrand on Friday evening.
