SAFA has called on law enforcement agencies in the country to act against any person found playing social football during level 3 of the lockdown.

“Apart from the professional wing, which is PSL and GladAfrica Championship leagues, all other football activities are suspended,” explained SAFA’s head of communications, Dominic Chimhavi.

‘‘According to the laws of the country and Presidency’s lockdown requirement, any other football activities are suspended until the situation is conducive.

‘‘The only games that have been compromised are PSL and GladAfrica Championship.

“We want to appeal to the police that if they come across people playing football, that they must arrest them.”
