THE Rob Thompson Band is set to revive their Ain’t Nothing But The Blues evening, at Eddie Macs@VP at the Victoria Sport Club in South End, on December 7.
The evening is dedicated to blues music and showcases the multidimensional offerings of the Port Elizabeth music scene. Thompson, along with Lloyd Martin on drums, Deon Mattheus on the bass guitar and Boet Strydom on keyboards, will be the core band members for the showcase.
Guest musicians, The Voice SA’s vocal powerhouse Nikki van Nik and PE stalwart guitarist and vocalist Greg Short are set to add variety to the show.
The doors open at 19:00 with the band starting at 20:00.
