Shirley Crouse’s cauliflower bake
Ingredients
- 1 medium cauliflower
- 2 chopped onions
- 3 beaten eggs
- 10 ml parsley
- 6 rashers bacon, chopped
- 250 ml cream
- Herbs of choice
Preparation
Step 1: Cook cauliflower for about 10 minutes and drain. Place in ovenproof dish.
Step 2: Fry onions and bacon together and place over cauliflower.
Step 3: Combine cream, eggs, herbs, parsley and seasoning. Pour over cauliflower mixture.
Step 4: Bake at 180 °C for about 45 minutes or until set. Remove and sprinkle with herbs of choice and serve.
