GQEBERHA – Police are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing Quewano Baatjies, who has been missing since early February.
According to police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, Quewano allegedly left his parents’ home in Kleinskool, and despite efforts by his family to locate him, his whereabouts remain unknown.
Janse van Rensburg said that after the family’s unsuccessful attempts to find him, a missing person case was registered at Bethelsdorp SAPS.
“Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen Quewano or who has information regarding his whereabouts to come forward,” she added.
She further said: “Anyone with information is requested to contact the investigating officer, Constable Tamzin Jordaan, on 083 700 1091. Alternatively, information may be reported anonymously via the Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or through the MySAPS app.”
“All information received will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.”
