The South African Police Service in Joza, Makhanda are
seeking assistance from the public in locating Pumelelo Zweni, who has been
reported missing since Tuesday, April 12.
According to police reports, Zweni, an employee of the
Department of Correctional Service, was last seen on April 9, 2022, at Nkanini
informal Settlement.
“At the time of his disappearance, Zweni was wearing a blue
and white hood sweater, blue jeans and yellow takkies. He has a tan skin
complexion, and is around 1.6 metres tall and slender built,” police
spokesperson, Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli said.
Anyone with information that could assist to shed some light
about Zweni’s whereabouts is urged to contact investigating officer, Detective
Constable Ntomboxolo Nkolongo on 062 036 558/ 046 602 2726. All information
will be treated confidentially.
