AUGUST is the month for celebrating womanhood and no better way to celebrate this than lacing up your takkies and painting the city pink in a fun 5km run or walk.
Calling all ladies to sign up for what promises to be Nelson Mandela Bay’s largest Women’s Day Celebration when the inaugural Pretty-in-Pink Ladies 5km, sponsored by Women-4-Life, kicks off at the Boardwalk Mall on Saturday, August 6.
Women-4-Life is passionate about women and women’s health and is the only dedicated women’s health practice in the Eastern Cape, run by women, for women and is excited to be the naming partner of the first ever Pretty-in-Pink Ladies 5km presented by Zsports Event SA in support of PinkDrive and Women’s Month.
The event embodies femininity, strength, determination, bravery and womanhood and all women (grandmothers, mothers, aunts, daughters and sisters) are requested to once again come together to #BeTogether and #ForWomen.
Fun, laughter, and camaraderie will fill your Saturday morning on August 6, when women come together for a ladies’ event whose proceeds are supporting PinkDrive.
The mistress of ceremonies, Lola Le Roux, who is also known as Bennie Gerber, is half Frans, half Afrikaans but ‘Heeltemal Kommin’ and sure to have you amped up and ready by the time Kayleen Lottering from Rebel Dance Fitness takes to the stage to get everyone warmed up and ready for the 09:30 start and a beautiful route through the Summerstrand suburb from the Boardwalk Mall 2nd Avenue parking area.
Sign up online today on the Zsports website, www.zsports.co.za, and receive an awesome goody bag filled with delight which will be available for collection from pre-event registration at the Boardwalk Mall on Friday, August 5 between 12:00 and 18:00.
Secure parking is offered free of charge beneath the Boardwalk Hotel for registration and race day.
