THE PE Gilbert & Sullivan Society will bring one of their most popular shows to the stage at the Savoy Theatre from tomorrow.
Simply called L.O.V.E., the Valentine’s cabaret will feature a line-up of local talent and is entertainment for young and old, couples, friends and all the family. Audiences can enjoy hits from the charts, the classics and the screen plus some hilarious comedy numbers. This year’s selection features songs by Pink!, Lady Gaga, The Beatles, Heart, Nina Simone, Bobby Darin, Shania Twain and many more.
L.O.V.E will run at the Savoy Theatre from February 13 to 16, with shows at 19:30 on Thursday and Saturday, 19:00 on Valentine’s Day, as well as a 14:00 matinée on Saturday and a 15:00 matinée on Sunday.
Tickets are R100 per person, R720 for a table of eight for evening shows, or R90/R80 for the Sunday matinée.
Seating is cabaret style and patrons are welcome to bring along their own snacks. On Valentine’s evening, patrons can choose to enjoy a special package which includes a three-course meal and the show for R250.
