“It is alleged that the driver of a white Honda Accord, Marais, was involved in a suspected road rage incident with the unknown male driver of a blue or silver SUV,” said police spokesperson Captain André Beetge.
“The exact make and model are not available and SAPS are requesting information from any person that might have seen the incident or knows who the driver of this vehicle is.”
He added that during the altercation, the driver of the SUV fatally stabbed the driver of the Honda Accord.
“He attempted to drive further, but after a short distance he lost control of his vehicle and bumped into a wall close to the Circular Drive and Henri Botha Street intersection,” he said. He passed away at the scene.
“A murder case was opened and is being investigated by SAPS Walmer,” Beetge concluded.
