The Provincial Organised Crime Investigation detectives are on the hunt for murder suspects who gunned down two men in Missionvale during the evening of Friday, August 16, and the morning of Saturday, August 17.
According to police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, it is alleged that at approximately 06:30, SAPS Algoa Park attended to a complaint of a shooting on Congo Street, Missionvale.
She said that upon arrival, they noticed that the front door to the shack had been kicked open, and when they went in, they found the bodies of two men aged 30 and 32 with gunshot wounds.
“Preliminary investigation was done by police in the area but could not gather any more information. Two cases of murder are currently under investigation. The motive for the murders is unknown at this stage and forms part of the investigation,” she added.
