Police are seeking suspects who robbed a jewellery business at Greenacres Shopping Centre this afternoon, September 2.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge, the incident happened at approximately 13:50.
He said the manhunt follows after a group of about eight to ten male suspects entered at the Greenacres Shopping Centre and proceeded to a jewellery place, which they robbed of an undisclosed amount of jewellery.
“No persons were injured during the incident.
“According to the information, after they looted, they ran out of the centre and made their getaway in a brown/bronze Suzuki 7-seater vehicle and a silver Etios.
“They are still at large, no arrests have been made yet,” said Beetge.
Beetge added that a case of business robbery was opened by SAPS Mount Road and being investigated by the EC Provincial Organised Crime Investigation Unit.
