GQEBERHA – The SAPS Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit is appealing to the public for assistance in locating four-year-old Alizwa Ngese, who has been reported missing.
According to police, Alizwa was last seen on Sunday, 5 July, at a church in Pityana Street, Soweto-on-Sea.
He was last seen wearing black jeans, a blue denim jacket and navy takkies. He is described as light in complexion.
Police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg said the child was reported missing at KwaZakhele Police Station on Monday, 6 July. Police are following up on all possible leads to trace his whereabouts.
Anyone who has seen Alizwa or has information that may assist police in locating him is urged to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Kelibone Mokhatla, on 082 420 9006 or the nearest police station.
Information may also be provided anonymously via Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or through the MySAPS app. According to police, all information received will be treated with the strictest confidence.
