ANDISWA Pikoli keeps the members of her community active through her Healthy Strong Body Club, which is based in Motherwell NU 3.

According to Pikoli, the fundamental objective to establish the club is to keep the members of the community, irrespective of age, healthy and fit and keep the youth actively busy, without thinking of committing criminal activities.

Pikoli states that she teaches physical training, step aerobics and taebo dance.

Pikoli said, “At our club, we believe that healthy living through sport is very important.

“All our members are so enthusiastic and very passionate about what they are doing.

“Despite the very small venue that we are using, our 32 members do not disappoint us. They work very hard every time.

“We are a health club which has no equipment. We are given the venue by KwaNtsikana Church, in Indwe Street in Showvillage. Be that as it may, our members are not turning away.

“The training sessions for adults take place from Monday to Friday, while the children train on Saturday mornings.

“The parents of these children cooperate with the club in so much these young members are highly motivated. Anyone who would like to get more information about our club, should contact me on 073 152 8186.”
