COMEDY lovers are sure to have their funny bones tickled when Khanyisela College presents the hilarious Soli Philander, aka the Creative Capetonian, at the South End Museum on Friday, November 23.
“I cannot wait to perform in Port Elizabeth again. People can look forward to a great evening which will be filled with laughter and entertainment, so PE, it is on,” Philander said.
A Lekker Jas Evening, as he calls the show, will be filled with idiom and phrase, rhyme and reason to engage mind, memory and emotion through humour.
Born and bred in the “Mother City”, Philander’s roots are firmly planted in the Cape and he aims to eradicate any misconceptions that people overseas may have of Cape Town through his work.
A man of many talents, Philander is also a master of ceremonies, motivational speaker, radio presenter, celebrity speaker and an avid supporter of youth development and community-based interventions while attaching his work and partnering with other organisations, getting exposure and helping these representatives raise funds for their organisations.
In addition to A Lekker Jas Evening, he will also be the guest speaker at Khanyisela College’s twice annual graduation that will be held place tomorrow, November 22.
A Lekker Jas Evening will take place at South End Museum on November 23 at 19:00.
Tickets at R120 are available online at www.quicket.co.za or at Khanyisela College.
