THE Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber will host an event at Falcon Rock, Lady Slipper, on Saturday, July 14 for anyone who enjoys the outdoors and adventure.
Adventure 101: Explore The Unthinkable will be a full-day event for family, friends and colleagues to enjoy a special day out at the mountain reserve with its spectacular views.
Besides a hike up the mountain, there will be a 5km trail run starting at 08:30, a guided birding and heritage tour, black powder or musket shooting, archery, tandem paragliding, rock climbing, bouldering, abseiling, paintball and team-building games.
In addition to the fun-filled activities, there will also be exhibit stalls, food trucks, a beer tent and live entertainment from DJs, such as Jay EM, Morne Munro, DJ Executive and other locals.
The evening will see visitors sitting under the night sky to enjoy a pop-up cinema and popcorn starting at 17:30.
Patrons can bring along blankets and camping chairs to ensure comfort and warmth.
Adventure 101: Explore the Unthinkable is organised by the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber in aid of The Kleinskool Initiative, a CSI initiative.
Entry is R50 per adult, which includes a hike up the mountain, and R25 per child under 12.
All entrants will be required to sign an indemnity form at the entrance.
