NKOSINATHI Ziwa banged in a brace of goals for Khipu Major Chiefs Sports Club during their SAFA Nelson Mandela Bay Hollywood Bet Regional League clash at Khayamnandi Community Grounds in Despatch on Sunday.

According to Chiefs’ head coach, Nkululeko Mayinje, the game was supposed to have been played at Zwide Stadium on Sunday, but after making proper communication with the relevant stakeholders, the game was moved to Khayamnandi Community Grounds.

“The pitch of Zwide Stadium is in a very shameful situation. However, I did not want to see players sustain injuries owing to the bad pitch. I have discussed with all relevant stakeholders and we reached a consensus that the game should take place in Despatch on Sunday,” said Mayinje.

Ziwa was on top of his performance when he registered a brace for Chiefs. Sintu Tsoko scored the Royal Bucks consolation. Despite the 2–1 loss to Chiefs, Bucks made their supporters happy by defeating Despatch Pioneers 2–0 at Motherwell NU 11 Stadium on Saturday. The new kid on the block, Liyema Nyumka, and Tsoko scored a goal apiece.

Royal Bucks are expected to go back to their winning ways when they play against Stinging Bees in New Brighton on Saturday at 15:00, while Chiefs face their neighbours, Bay Tigers, at Zwide Stadium on Saturday, starting at 15:00.
