They were closely followed by the DA with 36.21% of the votes.
According to News24’s election results dashboard, almost 58% of Nelson Mandela Bay’s registered 601,715 voters cast their vote.
Third on the leaderboard in Nelson Mandela Bay is the EFF (11.02%) followed by the PA (6.47%), the VF Plus (1.29%), the ACDP (1.27%), and the UDM (1.26%). The rest of the parties were all below 1%. The MK’s votes are 0.85%.
In the Kouga Municipality, the DA yesterday declared victory. Out of the total of 63,929 registered voters in the Kouga district, 38,154 (59.68%) voted. The DA received 52.33% of the votes, followed by the ANC (30.88%), the PA (6.54%), the VF Plus (3.06%), the EFF (2.98%), and the ACDP (1.15%).
