WITH only a few games left in the Walmer Football Association (WAFA) Premier League, Morning Stars went home holding their heads high after they collected six maximum league points in their double header at the weekend.
Stars showed what they were made of when they defeated the high-riding Young Aces 2-1 in their game on Saturday.
In their second game on Sunday, Stars defeated Two For Joy 2-0 at Walmer Community Grounds.
In another game, the league title chasers, Golden Heroes, embarrassed Eleven Experience 10-0 as well. Unfortunately, Heroes went down 1-0 to Ghetto Stars in their second game. Airport Valley United played to a 2-2 draw when they locked horns with hammers on Saturday.
Real Madrid drubbed Walmer Hotspurs 3-0 while Manchester United hammered Airport Valley City 4-0 in a one-sided game.
Mabayibone Strikers, who are on the brink of being demoted to the WAFA Lower League, had a bye.
