The Metro Police management team showed their support for local youth development by donating a tenor drum to Loyiso Senior Secondary School in Zwide. The school’s previous drum was broken, and the Metro Police aimed at helping the students get back on beat. “We are grateful for the generosity of the Metro Police,” said school principal Raymond Mali. ‘This donation will not only enhance our music programme, but will also provide our students with a positive outlet, keeping them off the streets and focused on their talents. The tenor drum will make a huge difference to the march and drill squad, as it will promote the element of confidence as they prepare to participate in the school’s march and drill competition.’Photo: SUPPLIED
