PEOPLE of the Eastern Cape, get out your running shoes, apply your sunscreen, grab a friend or family member and put on your biggest smile because the Medihelp Nelson Mandela Bay Train Race is going to be one to remember.

On August 19 Zsports and Medihelp Medical Scheme will be the proud hosts of this annual race, starting at 09:00 at the Port Elizabeth Railway Station and ending at 13:00 at the Uitenhage Railway Station.

The race aims to bring the community together, by providing you with a chance to participate with friends, family, colleagues, social club and school relay teams, consisting of five runners and one mountain bike cyclist.

Make your mark this year by adding some of your athletic spirit by taking part and reaching the finish line before the machine.

Tickets for the train aren’t for the few, as there are 750 tickets available for purchase, but act quickly as they sell out fast.

Entries are open and are available from the Zsports website at www.zports.co.za.

Entries are free for Medihelp members.
