A matric learner has died due to drowning at the Willows Resort in Nelson Mandela Bay, yesterday, October 23.
At approximately 16:30, police responded to a complaint at the resort in Marine Drive. On arrival, they found paramedics attempting to resuscitate 18-year-old Bulela Tisane but he was declared dead.
Police spokesperson, Capt. Sandra Janse van Rensburg, said that no foul play is suspected and an inquest docket has been opened.
“The investigation is continuing,” she said.
