The Marktfees fair promises to be a joyful event during which a variety of stalls will be carefully assembled and hand-picked creative makers – artisans and craftsmen – will collaborate in creating a magical atmosphere, exclusive to this time of the year.
Marktfees was born more than a decade ago. It originated from the idea to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their talents in the friendly city of Gqeberha. This wonderful initiative soon grew and flourished to such an extent that the Marktfees has become one of the most-anticipated events on the Eastern Cape calendar.
The fair promises to be a unique shopping experience, selling from imported items and a variety of high-end toys to delicious treats and boutique wines, to name only a few. There will also be live music to add to the festive cheer.
At its core, Marktfees strives to care for and give back to the community. It is because of this shared goal that a portion of the proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to Cheshire Home Cleary Estate in order for the staff to continue to assist their residents with a place they call home.
Marktfees will take place in the Tramways Building from November 30 to December 2. Tickets are available at the door at R40 for adults and R30 for pensioners. Both tickets are for multiple entries over these dates and children under 18 can enter free.
