THIS coming weekend, local entrepreneurs will again come together for the popular Locally Yours Market, this time for its two-year celebration.

A sought-after Nelson Mandela Bay event, the market offers items that are handmade, crafted, cooked, baked, grown and designed by entrepreneurs in the Eastern Cape.

“The sustainability and success of the market are all due to the locals and visitors support, showcasing that the trend to support local and shop sustainably is in demand,” said market director, Annelize Botha.

The February market will introduce a special student discount on various items, while Joe van der Linden provides the live entertainment.

There will be new vendors to look out for and, as it would not be a birthday without prizes and gifts, various spot prizes will be up for grabs as well.

Entry to the market is free. Instead, they ask for donations to the Animal Anti-Cruelty League.

The market will take place at the Tramways Building on Friday, February 28 from 17:00 to 21:00 and Saturday, February 29 from 09:00 to 14:00. – REPORTER
