A young man was gunned down and his body found in an open
field in Missionvale on Friday, December 2.
At approximately 16:30, police responded to a complaint of a
body lying in an open space in the area. The victim, Renaldo Fielies, was
allegedly approached by three men who started shooting at him. He sustained multiple
gunshot wounds.
Police spokesperson, Col. Priscilla Naidu, said that police
are investigating a case of murder.
“SAPS Algoa Park detectives are seeking the community’s
assistance in tracing the suspects involved,” she said.
Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in tracing the
