TWO Gqeberha school rugby players, Yanga Javu and Jordan de Rocks, are representing the South African LSEN team in Johannesburg.
Javu plays centre and is a learner at Merryvale, while De Rocks plays flank and attends Westview. They were included in the squad which was named after the provincial LSEN Week in Potchefstroom. Javu is also a key member of the Ithembelihle side.
The SA LSEN XV will be playing in the Academy Week. They were involved in two spectacular matches.
Border Country Districts beat the LSEN team 40–27, and on the second day Border beat LSEN 55–28.
Six players from Bergsig (Kariega) are in the LSEN team. They are André Barnard (hooker), Sihle Solwandle (prop), Liam Kaizer (lock), Johandré Visagie (no 8), Edwill Jantjies (fly half), and Algernon Bruintjies (wing).
