WITH less than a month to go, the countdown to Port Elizabeth’s biggest annual Christmas market has begun.
More than 130 stallholders are gearing up for Christmas in the Home, which is expected to draw around 8 000 visitors over the four days from Thursday, November 29 to Sunday, December 2.
The seasonal gift and craft market will once again turn the Basement Parking Garage of Walmer Park Shopping Centre into a veritable Santa’s workshop filled with present ideas ranging from home decor, toys, boutique-style clothing, accessories and deli treats.
Coordinator Elsje Smuts of Trueblue Communication and Events said her organising team was looking forward to presenting the 17th edition of what has become a Port Elizabeth institution.
This year’s visitors can also look forward to a number of previously unseen and out-of-town stallholders.
For shopping convenience, Christmas in the Home opens at 09:00 daily and will trade until 17:00 on Thursday, November 29, till 19:00 on the Friday, November 30, till 17:00 on Saturday, December 1 and until 14:00 on Sunday, December 2.
Entry costs R20 per person and is free of charge for children younger than the age of seven. For more info contact Elsje on 082 873 7663 or elsje@truebluecommunication.co.za, or find Christmas in the Home on Facebook.
