THE Nobuhle Despatch Football Association (NODEFA) 2023 Easter Tournament drew hundreds of spectators to Jabavu Stadium.
It was here that Imbabala Stars FC defeated Amarhamba United 1–0 in the finals on Easter Monday.
Amarhamba United faced the cup specialists, Despatch Pioneers, in the semi-finals, beating Pioneers 4–3 on penalties, after a goalless full-time score.
Imbabala Stars booked themselves a place in the finals when they edged out Highland Spurs 2–1.
The loyal supporters of Young Stars saw their side triumphant in a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Amarhamba United in the finals. Imbabala lifted the NODEFA 2023 Easter Tournament trophy and received a winners’ prize of R15 000 and a floating trophy.
