FORMER SAFA Nelson Mandela Bay SAB Regional League campaigners, Imbabala Stars, are the Nobuhle Despatch Football Association (NODEFA) Premier League log leaders.

On Sunday Imbabala secured an all-important 2–0 win over London Chiefs at Jabavu Stadium in KwaNobuhle. The victory kept their hopes of winning the NODEFA Premier League trophy alive. As things stand, Imbabala are top of the log table, after collecting 41 league points from 18 games.

Jamaican Stars, who are second on the log table with 37 league points from 18 games, thwarted Young Brothers 3–0 at Jabavu Stadium on Saturday.

In another thrilling encounter, Young Cosmos FC gave a good account of themselves, despite their 2–1 loss to Amarhamba United during their game at Jabavu Stadium on Sunday.

It was crunch time when Fearnot FC salvaged the three maximum league points in their 1–0 victory over the bottom of the league side, Toronto Blizzard FC, who have only 10 league points from 18 games.

Really Rangers FC supporters saw their side succumb 2–0 to Golden Chiefs.

Uitenhage Black Eagles took Young Culture FC to the cleaners when they demolished them 3–0 at Jabavu Stadium on Sunday.
