A 29-year-old woman died on impact following an accident that took place during the early hours of this morning, 15 April in Mount Road, Gqeberha.
According to Colonel Priscilla Naidu, police spokesperson, it is alleged that at about 00:15 the driver of the vehicle, aged 29, was travelling down Mount Road when he lost control of his Opel Corsa and collided into a boundary wall.
“The front-seated passenger succumbed to her injuries, while another two females sustained serious injuries. The driver and another male passenger sustained slight injuries,” Naidu said.
The injured were allegedly taken to Livingstone Hospital.
The name of the deceased has not been made public yet.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
