Approximately 200 protestors are blockading the Bloemendal Arterial and old Uitenhage Roads protesting about the crime situation in their area today, October 6.
According to police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, Public Order Policing is on the scene.
“Stun grenades were fired to disperse the crowd who were becoming aggressive,” said Naidu.
“The road is still closed.”
