SAPS Ikamvelihle detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 43-year-old woman who went missing on Monday, July 17.
According to police spokersperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, it is alleged that Melody Dendera’s son last had contact with his mother via a cell phone message that he forwarded to her, and she replied. After the message, he did not hear or see her again.
“She resides in Motherwell NU4 and was reported missing at SAPS Ikamvelihle.
“It is unknown what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance. Enquiries were made with family and friends whom she frequently visited, but they could not trace her,” said Janse Van Rensburg.
Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in the tracing of Melody Dendera to contact SAPS Ikamvelihle D/Sgt Elton Tau on 082 303 0432 or Crime Stop 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
