The Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Gqeberha is seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 17-year-old teenager who went missing on Friday, June 9.
According to Colonel Priscilla Naidu, police spokesperson, at about 07:30, Joshua de Jager left the Erica House Youth Care Centre in Cleary Estate, Gqeberha to attend his school (Cilliers High School).
“He was seen at school but failed to return to the Centre.
“He wore his school’s green tracksuit pants, a green T-shirt and black takkies. It is suspected that he may be in the Jeffreys Bay area,” Naidu said.
