Gqeberha man killed in motor cycle accident, police investigate culpable homicide

SAPS Mount Road detectives are investigating a culpable homicide case after a 24-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident on the N2 near Cotswold on Tuesday, August 29.

According to police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, it is alleged that at approximately 20:00, SAPS Mount Road responded to a complaint of an accident.

She said on arrival, they were informed by a witness that the deceased was on his motorcycle when he lost control at the split from the N2 into Cape Road.

“The bike collided with the barrier of the bridge.

“The body of André Lubbe, 24, was found at the bottom of the bridge,” said Janse Van Rensburg.
