Gqeberha community firefighters are in dire need of fire gear and essential equipment during this intense fire season.
Speaking to the Express, Zenda-Lee Williams from Rise Against Domestic Violence SA stated that a BackaBuddy campaign has been launched to raise R52 000 in funds for the NMB Fire Volunteers.
The volunteer firefighters have been responding to relentless bushfires across areas like Van Stadens and residential edges. These dedicated volunteers urgently need protective gear and equipment to continue protecting homes, livestock, and lives in the community.
