Some roads in Jeffreys Bay were flooded, with over 200mm of rain that was measured in the town this morning.

Good rainfall has been measured in the Nelson Mandela Bay and Kouga catchment areas over the past two days.

According to the Gamtoos Water Users’ Association, the Kouga Dam is 89.25% full, and the Loerie Dam is 103.67%.

Some roads in Jeffreys Bay were flooded with over 200mm measured until this morning.

Rain measured until this morning in the catchment areas includes Krakeel (60mm), Joubertina (35mm – 43mm), Stuurmanskraal (53.4mm), and Kouga Dam (15mm).

Rainfall in the non-catchment areas includes De Mistkraal – Geelkrans (12.2mm), Cambria (14mm), Kwagga (16mm), Patensie (16mm), Kleinrivier (16mm – 23mm), Loerie (47.4mm), Mondplaas (42mm), Wacky Woods (55mm), Buffelshoek (48mm), Matjiesfontein between Gamtoos and Van Stadens (100mm).
