FOOTBALL fans witnessed a feast of goal scoring during the Sasol Ladies’ Soccer League games that were played across the Eastern Cape recently.
In the Sasol Ladies’ Coastal Stream, fans watched a nine-goal thriller when Golden Stars narrowly beat Highbury 5-4 at Adcock Stadium in Korsten.
Birmingham City clipped the wings of Bashee Eagles, handing them a 9-2 defeat at their home ground, Dutywa Stadium.
Sophakama showed that they meant business in their away game that they won 4-0 against Dower United at PE College in Cleary Park, picking up three vital league points.

It was a gruelling task when Eastern Rangers played to a 1-1 draw against Cumakala Ladies’ FC at New Rest Stadium in Lusikisiki. In another tough battle, Amanqilo Birds shared a 1-1 draw with Coastal United Ladies at Thombo Sports Field in Port St Johns.
