Gqeberha police have identified the father and son who were shot and killed on Monday, February 3, at the Arlington Waste Tip.
According to police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, the father and son have been identified as Heinrich Minnie (47) and Tiaan Minnie (26).
As previously reported by the PE Express, the father and son arrived at the Arlington Waste Tip at about 11:00.
On Monday, February 3, Janse van Rensburg reported: “While they were busy offloading the rubbish, the Heinrich was shot while standing outside his bakkie at the driver’s side, and his Tiaan was shot while still seated in the passenger seat.”
She stated the motive and suspects are unknown.
The investigation is still ongoing.
