EP Media, the local newspaper division of Media24 in the Eastern Cape, recently awarded its top achievers at a brunch held at the Paxton Hotel in Gqeberha.
Port Elizabeth Express was awarded the newspaper of the year.
Other EP Media publications include UD Express, Kouga Express, and Mthatha Express.
The editorial award went to EP Media regional editor Zeldré Swanepoel.
Advertising awards went to the following sales representatives: Maro Swanepoel from PE Express (ROP Rep of the Year), Estoretha Strydom from Kouga Express (runner-up ROP award of the Year), Lowella Hewitt-Ochse from PE Express (Classifieds Rep of the Year), and Tammarine Scharneck from Kouga Express (runner-up Classifieds Rep of the Year).
Awards for New Business and Digital Sales went to Riana Baatjies and Nerissa Brandt (both from PE Express) respectively.
Teresa Renken (Office Manager) and Nicolette Thomas (EP Media Sales and Marketing Manager) received the Manager’s Choice awards from EP Media General Manager, Bettie Giliomee-Rossouw.
