Emergency services rushed to the scene of a fire this morning, April 19, when part of a daycare in Sidwell went up in flames.
According to Bester EMS, that attended to the scene, they received the call on one of their dedicated Bester Emergency Medical Service Accident and Emergency Groups just before 11:00.
The fire was at a daycare centre in Gould Road.
“Bester EMS staff alongside Eastern Cape Emergency Medical Services crew reacted quickly and dispatched the fire Department to the scene.
“The scene is currently under control and fortunately no injuries were reported,” Bester EMS said at approximately 12:00.
