POPULAR musician and school teacher Neil Thomson will reunite with his long-time collaborator, Roger Gilson, to bring the music of the folk singer-songwriter duo, Simon and Garfunkel, to audiences this weekend.

Old Friends – A Tribute to Simon and Garfunkel is a show steeped in nostalgia and will have fans “feeling groovy” again.

Thomson will play guitar-picking, songwriting, rhyming Paul Simon while Gilson tackles the soaring, angelic voice of Art Garfunkel.

Supporting band members are André Strydom on bass, Hugo Kleinhans on guitar, Khanya Matomela on keyboards and Russel Snead on drums.

Old Friends – A Tribute to Simon and Garfunkel will take place at the Hellenic Hall in Conyngham Road on Friday and Saturday, September 13 and 14 at 19:30.
