The South African Police Service (SAPS) can confirm that the bodies of two unknown males were found in bushes near Coega Hotel yesterday, 01 September 2025 at about 09:35.
According to a SAPS spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge, both males (estimated ages between 20 and 30) had gunshot wounds to their heads and it is suspected that their hands were tied at some stage behind their backs.
“The motive and identities of the suspects are being investigated and no arrests have been made yet,” said Beetge.
He added that murder cases (two counts) were opened and are being investigated by SAPS Swartkops.
