Birdlife EC: Will have a morning outing to Van Staden’s Gorge and Lady’s Slipper Mountain on Sunday, November 18. The target birds are half-collared kingfisher at the old bridge, orange-breasted sunbird and white-starred robin. Meet at Schultz’s in West Street, Newton Park, at 06:00. Flea Market: Will take place at Park Rugby Club in Stella Londt Drive on Sunday, November 18, from 08:00 to 14:00. Stalls will be selling clothing, accessories, food, plants and much more. There will also be a Miss and Master competition. The two categories cater to children aged one to three and four to six. Stalls for the flea market are available. Zahra’s Oriental Dance Studio:
Will have their annual student showcase in the form of a High Tea Hafla at The Open Door Assembly of God West Point on December 1 at 15:00. The church set up the Latitha Ilanga Educare in Greenbushes and the studio is collecting goodies for the children for Christmas hampers. The dancers are joined this year by Gigi bellydancer from Grahamstown in the Oriental Belly Dance programme. Entry is R50 and a small item for the hamper.


Lions Club of Cape Recife:
