Etensuur-konsert: Musiekliefhebbers word uitgenooi om vandag (7 Augustus) om 13:00 ’n etensuur-konsert in die Veremarksentrum met ’n orreluitvoering deur die internasionaal bekende Hongaarse orrelis Laszlo Almasy by te woon. Almasy se gevarieerde program sluit onder andere bekende werke van Reger, Liszt, en Bach in. Die kaartjies vir die geleentheid kan by die deur gekoop word, en kos R50 per volwassene, R40 vir pensionarisse en leerders kan dit gratis bywoon. Single Mums Club: The debut event of the Single Mums Club will be held at Hall 4, Word of Faith, William Moffett, on Friday, August 9, from 10:00 to 12:00. Women’s Day Market: The market will be held on Friday, August 9, at African Sky’s Venue, 120 Nassua Road, Theescombe. Free entry for visitors. Over 50 vendors, including food trucks, craft vendors, kiddies’ entertainment, and live music at the beer tent. A play area, tractor rides, pony rides, and a restaurant will be onsite. EP Bonsai Society: A bonsai meeting will be held on August 10 at the Newton Park Methodist Church hall on the corner of 3rd Avenue and Newton Street, from 11:00 onwards. Looking for an interesting hobby that “grows” on you? Fundi and chairwoman, Sally Saunders, will do a demo on “swamp cyprus”, a tree native to the swamp area of America. Gqeberha Central Men’s Shed: They meet every Wednesday from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Athenaeum, Athol Fugard Terrace (Belmont Terrace) between Castle Hill and Military Road, opposite the Supreme Court. A men’s shed is a space where men can relax, get together to talk, work together, have a cup of coffee, and create friends. All ages are welcome. Hi’s Place Developing Centre: They have a church service every Sunday at 09:00. Every first and third Saturday of the month they also have a healing service at 17:00. The next service will be on August 17. All are welcome. It’s an open meeting to all sick people and those with problems who need prayer.
