Alien Clearing: The WESSA Algoa Bay April Alien Clearing will be on Saturday, April 13, in Driftsands Drive, Humewood, from 09:00 to 11:00. This is part of the ongoing efforts to stem the spread of Rooikrans and other alien invaders. Some tools will be provided. Please bring your own bow saw or lopper (if possible), as well as a hat, water, sunscreen, and normal garden gloves. Look out for the WESSA feather banner along Driftsands Drive. To get there from the Forest Hill side, go down Forest Hill/La Roche Drive and turn left at the La Roche Drive, Strandfontein Road, Driftsands Drive, traffic light intersection. Sacred Heart Family Market: The Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 512 Cape Road, Kabega, will host a family market on Saturday, April 20, from 08:00 to 14:30. The R10 entrance fee enters you into a raffle to win a R1 000 Merino Meat Voucher. Entry is free for kids under 12. Hi’s Place Developing Centre: They have a church service every Sunday at 09:00. On the first and third Saturday of every month there is also a healing service at 17:00. All are welcome.
