Craft, Hobbies and Toy Fair: The fair takes place on Saturday, March 2, at the Walmer Town Hall, Main Road, Walmer, from 08:30 to 13:00. Entrance fee is R5. Proceeds will go to Save-A-Pet.

Vintage Market Day: The market day will be held at Vintage PE, 2 St Philips Street, Richmond Hill, on March 2 from 09:00 to 14:00. Entry is free. Stalls selling vintage and pre-loved items.

Drive-Thru Bazaar: NG Church Parkheuwel Drive Thru Bazaar will take place on March 2. Place orders with Fred at 084 847 7836. Collect at 10:00. Jaffels, burgers, puding, cake slices, rusks . . .

Books on the Lawn: The Children’s Feeding Trust Bookshop will have a R5 booksale on the lawns in front of the Walmer Town Hall, Main Road, Walmer, on Saturday, March 2, from 09:00 to 13:00. A large variety of fiction and non-fiction will be on sale. The Trust supports vulnerable children in Gqeberha and the surrounding area.

Boot Sale: Save A Pet will have its monthly boot sale at the Elephant Walk Restaurant car park in Colleen Glen on Saturday, March 2. Sellers set up at 06:00 at R50 per vehicle. Shopping starts at 08:00. The restaurant/bar and farm shop will be open. Contact Gwen at 082 692 2222.

Windsong Bohemian Market: The market takes place on Saturday, March 2, at The Green, Holmeleigh Farmyard, Grey Dawn Road, Theescombe from 09:30 to 14:30. Varied stalls and food truck, pony rides. face painters and a drumming circle by Mike Didge. Entry is free. Contact 071 589 8847.

Dias Quilter’s Guild: The guild will hold their monthly meeting on Saturday, March 2, at 13:30 at the Victoria Park Grey Primary School, First Avenue, Walmer. Visitors are welcome. Entry is R20 for members and R40 for visitors. Contact Anna-Marth at 083 419 3081.

Re-Seconds Market: The market will take place at Londt Park Sports Club on Sunday, March 3, weather permitting, from 09:00 to 14:00. Golf Fundraiser: Westview Special School will host their annual Golf Fundraiser Day on Saturday, March 9, at Little Walmer Golf Club.

Gqeberha Central Men’s Shed: The men meet every Wednesday from 10:00 to 12:00 at The Athenaeum, Athol Fugard Terrace (Belmont Terrace), between Castle Hill and Military Road, opposite the Supreme Court. We will discuss our new projects of assisting selected schools with skills development, business acumen, and other areas needing boosting. Hi’s Place Developing Centre: They have a church service every Sunday morning at 09:00. Every first and third Saturday night of the month they also have a healing service at 17:00 – this month on March 2 and 16. Everyone is welcome. It’s an open meeting to all sick people and those with problems who need prayer. Healing & Deliverance Meeting: The meeting will take place on Saturday, March 2. Meeting starts at 10:00 at Word of Faith Christian Centre, on the corner of William Moffett Expressway and Lilly Street, Mangold Park, in the small Grass Roof Chapel.

Christian Ladies Retreat: The retreat will take place from May 3 to 5 at Humble Ways Retreat Centre. The cost is R400.
