Night Market: African Sky’s Night Market will take place on February 23, from 17:00 to 21:00 at 121 Nassau Road, Theescombe. It’s a family market with over 60 stalls, including a beer tent, food trucks, and kiddies’ entertainment. Contact 071 125 0878.
Book Club/Sale: The Friends of the Linton Grange Library will have a book club on February 14 from 10:00 to 12:00. Their next book sale will take place on February 24 from 08:00 to 12:00 and they need new “friends”. All are more than welcome to join the group.
Craft, Hobbies and Toy Fair: The fair takes place on Saturday, March 2, at the Walmer Town Hall, Main Road, Walmer, from 08:30 to 13:00. Entrance fee is R5. Proceeds will go to Save-A-Pet.
Open Hands Foundation: We are about to start our first course in health care for 2024. Gqeberha Central Men’s Shed: The men meet every Wednesday from 10:00 to 12:00 at The Athenaeum, Athol Fugard Terrace (Belmont Terrace), between Castle Hill and Military Road, opposite the Supreme Court. We will discuss our new projects of assisting selected schools with skills development, business acumen, and other areas needing boosting. Hi’s Place Developing Centre: They have a church service every Sunday morning at 09:00. Every first and third Saturday night of the month they also have a healing service at 17:00 – healing services will be on February 17. Everyone is welcome. It’s an open meeting to all sick people and those with problems who need prayer.
