DESPATCH – Police detectives in Despatch are appealing for public assistance in identifying two men found murdered on Sunday, 5 April.

The bodies were discovered at around 08:00 behind Khayamnandi Kraal in Despatch.

“He came across the two men lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds to their upper bodies,” she said.

Police confirmed that both victims had sustained multiple stab wounds. The bodies were found approximately five metres apart, with bloodied stones believed to have been used in the attack lying next to each body.

One of the deceased was wearing a black T-shirt, green tracksuit pants and blue, white and red striped boxer underwear.

He also had a green wrist tag believed to be linked to a Manyati event. The second deceased was wearing green and black pants with a white T-shirt.

“Despatch SAPS detectives urge anyone who may have information that could assist in identifying the deceased or in the investigation to come forward,” Van Rensburg added.
