ON Saturday, June 20, a team from Vox Telecom hosted a street cleaning campaign in Glendinningvale.
Frogfoot also came out to show their support for this initiative and the Frogfoot and Vox mascots were well received by drive-by commuters.
“At Vox, we acknowledge the support of our community and strive to give back in any way we can. On Saturday our young and passionate fibre sales specialists headed to the streets to help clean up the community that has always shown us love and support,” said Megan Capoto, brand activation specialist at Vox.
She added that cleanliness had become a huge topic of discussion to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. “Part of this involves keeping our streets clean and safe for us all.”
Vox will be doing more of these street clean-ups across the different areas in Port Elizabeth in the coming weeks and they are inviting the public to join in. For details on the upcoming clean-up campaigns, join the “PE Fibre” group on Facebook.
